.::. New User? Project? Software? There's a form for that!

October 14, 2023 — ABI Operations Team

Howdy!

Managing users, projects or software is complicated, many projects require different software and many users work on multiple projects.

That is why we created the following forms, to make your life and ours easier.

User Form

If you are a new user and require an account on our servers, please use the user form to apply for an account. Your account will be added into our OpenLDAP directory, allowing you to access all the servers. Make sure to follow the Server Access HowTo to generate your keys.

Project Form

If you want to apply for a new project, please use the project form. This is meant for the project leads only, where you will be asked about your project description and the username of your fellow members.

Each project will have the followig resources by default:

  • 64 CPU vCores
  • 256 GB of RAM
  • 5TB of Storage

If you require more (or less!) please mention in the form.

When your project is approved, you will see it mounted at the /mnt/proj/ProjecName directory.

Software Form

The software form is simple: specificy the name of the software, the link of the software, the package name of the software or the stack trace of your currently-not-building software, and our team will handle the rest.

In case you're wondering, this is a list of software that we use in our infrastructure

There's a button at the top of the site that says System Status which currently redirect to the weblog, however in the future it will have graphs about running jobs, CPU and memory usage, disk utilization, monitoring, etc.
